Welcome to Whole Me.

Nutrition. Coaching. Massage.

Background

Based in Cheshire, I am passionate about supporting wellbeing at any age. It is a stark statistic that although we live longer lives we spend more than 1/5th in poor health*.

Whether already on a health and fitness journey looking for coaching to improve and succeed in your interests, or unsure where to begin; advice and plans are tailored to you.

Whole Me hopes to create a safe environment to promote and empower positive, sustainable lifestyle change; knowing that, even for one individual, needs change as you move through changing seasons of life.

I want to help you navigate health advice you may have already encountered - there are no silly questions.

Alongside professional experience, I have seen my own health benefit from changes in nutrition and lifestyle. Things I do for my own wellbeing include:

  • Taking time to relax without feeling guilty. For me this often includes time outdoors walking and gardening, listening to an audiobook, a phone call to a friend or simply singing along to music. This might need a conscious plan on the to-do list or can be an opportunity taken in place of scrolling news and social media.

  • Taking part in a voluntary role with my local community gives me satisfaction and the human connection we all benefit from.

  • Stretching, whether at home or a Pilates class, to offset spending time at a screen or commuting in one posture.

  • A focus on whole foods for fibre and nutrients, to feed my body and healthy gut bacteria, and enough protein for energy and satiety. I try to avoid eating too late for digestion. Like everyone I am doing my best but remain a work in progress- I would benefit from better hydration!

  • I am fortunate to have always enjoyed exercise as part of looking after my body and mind. I have taken part in ultramarathons and pushed myself at times. Over the years, I have altered the intensity and focussed on strength, and reduced impact when my body needs it.

  • Being thankful. Taking a moment each day keeps my glass looking half full. When this is difficult, it can be a signal to review how you are feeling and to consider asking for help.
